Rogers. - The Funeral has taken place of Kenneth Rogers, who lived at Derwen Court, Sontley Road, Wrexham and passed away at home on 30th July, 2011, aged 75 years. He leaves his wife Iris (deceased), sons Paul and Craig, daughters-in-law Victoria and Catherine and granddaughter Bethan, sisters and brothers June, Dennis (deceased), Sylvia, Karen, Neil, Carole, Elwyn and Marilyn. He started work at Higher Berse Farm before joining Llay Main Colliery and finally Brymbo Steelworks until its closure. He enjoyed country walks, gardening and watching cricket and bowls. The Funeral Service was at Pentrebychan Crematorium on 16th August and was conducted by Rev David Griffiths. Bearers were sons Paul and Craig, brothers Neil and Elwyn. Mourners were many relatives, friends and neighbours too numerous to mention. Flowers were sent by close family only.
THANKS - The family would like to thank all the relatives, friends and neighbours for the sympathy during their bereavement, also to Roberts Bros Funeral Directors. Donations amounting to £445 are to be shared between the British Heart Foundation and Prostate Cancer Care.
