Report this message By Son - Ken, Shirley Family on 4th Mar 2010Life is so short - almost like a vapor, here one minute and gone the next. I can quite easily visualise in my mind things in my childhood. The joys and pains of growing, the patience and wisdom of a loving mother. The influence that may never be fully understood and yet somehow guiding to eternity. How can you say thank you for such a heritage. It is beyond price & yet all we can presently do is reflect on such kindness & self sacrificing love & humbly say from the bottom of my heart thankyou for your love & care, compassion& guidance. I hope we can meet in a earth made new where there is no death, sickness, pain or seperation. Sleep in peace. Love Ken, Shirley & Family xxx

Report this message By Amanda John on 26th Feb 2010Nanny, I remember the times in England when we would visit you, always once a week mid-week after school with mum and dad, we would sit in front of the fire and watch Benny Hill, I will always remember your sense of humor and your laugh. Grandad would get out his home made beer and you would enjoy a sherry, and maybe an odd naughty cigarette. You made the best chocolate cake. I would get on my bike when you moved closer and ride over for a visit with you and Grandad. We would always share boxing days together at Christmas. When we moved to Canada, you moved to Wales, and as the years passed by you would visit us as often as you could, we enjoyed every visit and as the Great-Grandchildren arrived you were very proud, and loved every one. As the years went by and you were no longer able to visit I was grateful for every time that I had the opportunity to come over to Wales from Canada to see you, and recently every year. I shall cherish all those times and the memories and pictures we have to keep forever. You will always have a special place in my heart.
Rest in Peace Nanny, Love Always,
Mandy X
