Report this message By Lee Foster on 12th Apr 2012Hi Nan,
Went to your house last night and took a few things to remember you by. Was really tough! How do you say goodbye to so many years of happy memories? The new couple buying your house are apparently lovely and I’m sure will cherish it the way you did. Obviously after last night, you have been on my mind a lot and just wanted to take the chance again to say thank you for everything you did for me. I miss you so much! I’m going to see Granddad in a few days. He’s struggling Nan but your family are always looking after him. Mum and Dad have barely left his side since you left.
Jack and Ben are doing great and I know you would have been so very proud of them. Haven’t mentioned Vicky much when writing to you but just want you to know that she loves you and thinks of you as much as me.
We still can’t believe you are gone. Sleep well with your angels.

Report this message By Lucy on 29th Feb 2012Happy Birthday Nan for 1st March.
Lucy had a lovely '1st' birthday today. She is growing up so fast- I can't believe she is 4 now. I know you'd think she was gorgeous and full of personality. We took her to a safari park today and she got a 'pink' bike as her present.
Ellie is wonderful - such a perfect little baby and very smiley. You would've adored her. She has been to visit 'Grandad Bill' a few times and he's made that clip-clop horse sound to her that lucy loved. I know that you've seen her. I'm glad that you live on through them- sharing Lucy's birthday (most years!) and in Ellie's middle name- I hope that they inherit your wonderful personality too.
We all love you and miss you more than words can possibly say, but know you're in a very special place - both in heaven and within the hearts of everyone whose lives you touched.
Happy Birthday Nan. Love Always xxxxxx
Report this message By Anne Foster on 29th Feb 2012This year Lucy's birthday is the day after the 28th February! Usually it is yours but you have to wait a day longer this year! We think of you every day but March 1st will always be special. We have daffodils for your birthday. I have seen Dad today and he thinks you are with him as I'm sure you are. All the family love and miss you so much but still feel you around us. I talk to you every day and you always help me when I need it. You even found my lost dragonfly for me!
Stay safe with your angels Mum. Love always.

Report this message By Lee Foster on 23rd Feb 2012Hi Nan,
Facing a problem at the moment. I love having you here to talk to because you always listened to me. Really miss your advice and support and how you made me feel better. I know you would be telling me to get on with it and problems are never as bad as you think. I knew you so well, I feel I know what your advice would be.
I will be ok but feel better talking to you about it.
Be back for your birthday. There is a balloon coming your way on the morning so look out for it.
Love always
Lee
Report this message By Lee Foster on 8th Feb 2012"You greet us at the front door. You are just finishing a crossword. Grandad is in the lounge watching football. We have a catch up on what we have been up to the last week. You tell me to go and watch the football with Grandad and leave you and Vicky in peace. I come back through at half time and you ask how the game is going (even though you dont really care). Five minutes later, Grandad appears. He doesnt like being on his own in the front room when he thinks he might be missing something. He goes back for the second half and you usher me to follow him whilst saying to Vicky BLOODY FOOTBALL. You come in ten minutes before the end and ask what time its due to finish as you are making the tea. We come through at full time with a report on the game and you tell us to sit down and make the table as Tea is ready. EGG CHIPS AND BEANS. Fantastic! We finish our meal and get ready to leave but you always have something else to say. We always stay longer than we planned but dont mind as we love it here. We open the front door and you comment on the weather and tell us to be careful. We will see you next week. Look after each other. You respond by telling us not to worry about you and to look after each other." Been missing you a lot recently Nan and its memories like that that put a smile on my face. Love you very much always. xxx

Report this message By Lee Foster on 19th Dec 2011Hi Nan,
Just wanted to say hello.
Its Christmas next week and we are looking forward to spending it as a family. It still doesnt feel right for me celebrating without you here but I know that would make you angry thinking like that.
Jack is really excited and has talked about you up in the sky more recently as he knows Father Christmas will be up there soon.
Will be back on Christmas Day to wish you all the best.
Love you always
Lee

Report this message By Anne Foster on 17th Nov 2011A whole year has gone by but there's never a day we don't think of you. Thank you for being the best mum, nan and great nan and a wonderful wife to Dad. You have left us so many wonderful memories and you live on in all of us. We will love you for ever and try to make you proud every day.
The words read out on this day last year were so wonderful and I'd like to say these few lines again.
"If I could be just half the person
You have been to me
Then you have taught me well dear mum
For in my heart I see
A woman whose most gentle soul
Embraces me each day,
A woman whom I dearly love
Much more than words can say."
Rest with your angels mum. God bless. Anne and Stuart xx
