    BARBARA LETITIA EVANS - Passed away at Llanidloes War Memorial Hospital on Thursday 18th September 2014 aged 83 years. She leaves her daughters Glenys, Linda and Gillian and grandchildren Gwen, Bethan, Emyr, Craig, Sasha and Kelly. The family would like to sincerely thank the Rev. W. O. Meredith Powell for a lovely service held at the crematorium, Aberystwyth, and Ian Hughes of M. Jones and Sons for carrying out the funeral arrangements. Also to the staff of Llanidloes War Memorial Hospital and to everyone for the kind expressions of sympathy and donations amounting to £545 which is given in memory for Cancer Research UK.

    FRANCES MARY SHEPPARD (nee Hockenhull) - passed away peacefully on the 6th of October 2014 aged 87 years. Born on the 14th of January 1927, eldest child of Edgar and Alice Hockenhull of Sunderton Farm, Uffington, Shrewsbury. Frances married Patrick Sheppard in 1954 and lived at West House, Chirbury until 1994 when they retired from farming and moved to Bryn Caer, Chirbury. Pat died in 2007 six months before their 50th wedding anniversary. The Funeral took place at St Michael's Church, Chirbury on the 18th of October. The bearers were Kevin Evans, Kevin Roberts, Dwain Evans and Adam Shanahan, grandsons in law. The ushers were Tom Sheppard nephew, Rupert Sheppard, Alistair Sheppard and Marcus Sheppard grandsons. The service was conducted by Rev Robert Leach. Mother of Anne, Tony and Ruth. Mother in law to Duncan, Joanne and Bryan. Grandmother to Jenny, Rachel, Clare, Kate, Rupert, Alistair, Marcus and Charlotte. Great grandmother to Ella and Lucie. Sister to John Hockenhull. Funeral arrangements by Mr Geraint Peate. Flowers by Mrs Jan Philips. Many Thanks. Donations were received for St Michael's Church, Chirbury and the Dialysis Unit, Welshpool.
